Tim Moran is a senior benefits and risk advisor with over 16 years of experience helping employers navigate complex healthcare and retirement strategies. As a leader at EKA Benefits Services, Tim partners with business owners, CFOs, and HR executives to design, benchmark, and optimize employee benefit programs that drive cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and long-term workforce stability.
He began his career in specialty pharmacy, working alongside leading teaching hospitals to manage high-cost therapies and complex reimbursement challenges — an experience that shaped his consultative, advocacy-driven approach.
Today, Tim specializes in self-funded health plans, stop-loss strategy, 401(k) fiduciary governance, and executive benefit design. Known for his analytical rigor and hands-on style, he serves as an extension of his clients’ executive teams, focused on reducing spend, improving plan performance, and protecting fiduciary liability.
A graduate of Siena College, Tim lives on Long Island with his wife Christina and their three children and enjoys spending his free time on the golf course.
